What Trevurs does not do

  • It does not connect you with other travelers. If you travel solo to meet people, a group tour or a free walking tour is a better place for that.
  • It does not replace local safety advice. Check official travel advisories for your destination.
  • It does not include entry tickets or transport.

Price

Trevurs is a free app for iOS and Android. There is also an optional Premium version, from USD 1.99, with unlimited offline downloads, access to every tour and no ads. It also helps keep an independent app alive.

Questions

Is it safe to do a self-guided tour alone?
Trevurs gives you the route and the audio; it does not assess how safe an area is. Use the same judgment as on any walk: do long routes in daylight, keep one ear free in traffic and crowds, and check local advice.
Can I do a tour without a group or a booking?
Yes. There's no booking, no minimum group size and no fixed start time. Open the app, choose a tour and go to stop 1.
Do I need mobile data abroad?
No. Download the tours over wifi at your hotel or before the trip, and listen without any connection.
How long does a tour take?
From about 30 min to several hours, counting audio and walking. By total time: under 1 hour: 19, 1 to 2 hours: 98, 2 to 3 hours: 39, 3 hours or more: 51.
